· Increased mileage!! Typical gains of 17-71% - these numbers are based on actual customer testimonials with an average gain of 25%. While some people are getting gains of over 50% these are not typical. Be careful of others offering seemingly similar devices claiming such gains. They are not typical.
· Increased performance – most people are under the impression that increasing mileage will cost them performance. Not true! The Brown’s Gas produced by the ER HyZor not only reduces the fuel burned but acts like a catalyst allowing a more efficient burn of the fuel/air mixture in your engine. As a general statement this results in more torque.
· Reduces pollution - Brown’s Gas allows a more efficient fuel burn which reduces emissions.
· A cleaner, cooler running engine - since Brown’s Gas is made from water it returns to water during the combustion process in turn cooling and cleaning the combustion chamber.
· With today's rising gas prices you will be able to recover the price of the HyZor within your first year and be money ahead every year thereafter!
· Size - the ER HyZor is only 10" long by about 11½" high by 3" wide.
· Easily installed on ANY engine - Diesel, gasoline, or propane! Fuel injection or carbureted. Stationary generators, excavation equipment, farm tractors, etc.
· The ER HyZor makes actual Brown’s Gas – The ER HyZor makes a high grade of Brown's Gas that works very well to increase mileage.
· Other companies are boasting to the amount of gas they produce, isn’t more better? – In the case of increasing your mileage, no, more is not better. The ER HyZor is designed to make the optimal amount of gas for most automobile applications. Please see the “Energy trade off” paragraph below for an explanation.
· How much amperage does the ER HyZor consume? – ER HyZor consumes at most 3 amps of electricity when operating. This load is handled easily by your electrical system. Some other companies selling HHO generators are consuming up to 20 amps and sometimes more!! Most vehicles electrical systems simply cannot handle this high load over a longer period of time leading to a burnt out alternator. Remember this load is there at all times when the engine is running, so it is a continual load on the alternator. This additional load and gas production is simply not necessary and wasteful – please refer to the “Energy trade off” paragraph below.
· Other companies describe how hot their electrolyzers/generators get. – This is basically a waste of energy. Excessive heat production is a key indicator of an inefficient design. We’d rather make useful gas than wasteful heat. Our electrolyzer will get slightly warm to the touch, but not hot. Some of the competition’s electrolyzers get very hot, to the point of producing steam. The ER HyZor is a much more efficient design in that it uses the electricity to make Brown's Gas and not heat. If you wanted to supplement your combustion with steam, it is much more efficient to get the heat from your exhaust system rather than the alternator.
· Energy trade off – The ER HyZor is an electrolyzer which makes Brown’s Gas from electricity. This electricity is not free, it comes from the fuel in your fuel tank. The fuel is burned in the engine to make mechanical energy to turn the alternator which in turn converts this mechanical energy to electrical energy for the electrical system via the alternator. There is quite a bit of loss of energy here due to friction, heat losses, etc. To begin with, the engine is only about 30-35% efficient in converting the energy contained in gasoline to mechanical energy. Just think of the heat being lost in exhaust gasses and the radiator. This is before any losses are considered from making the mechanical energy into electricity, such as friction of the belt to drive the alternator and losses in the alternator itself. The bottom line is that it takes about 7 watts worth of fuel to make 1 watt of electricity. The ER HyZor only draws at most 3 amps worth of electricity. Using more wattage than this is not needed as there is a small percentage of Brown's Gas that the engine can use to net a gain in mileage. More Brown's Gas than this amount is simply too much and leads to a mileage loss. It is not too much for the engine to burn, the problem is that in drawing more amperage to produce the gas gets into an area of diminishing returns – more gas than optimal is no longer efficient. Since increasing your mileage is all about efficiency we have found this to be an ideal amount for engines up to 5-6 liter displacement. Not much Brown's Gas is needed to get a good mileage gain. In this case more is not better. Producing more Brown's Gas will lead to an actual LOSS of mileage due to additional gas production that is not needed.
